Who is eligible to participate?
If you are a current student of a partner university of the Faculty of Computer Science or the Higher School of Economics, you are eligible to spend up to two semesters at the Faculty of Computer Science.
If your university is not in the list, but you are still keen to spend a semester at the Faculty of Computer Science, you may apply as a Visiting student.
Application procedure
Please apply through the international relations or study abroad office at your home university. The exchange coordinator at your home university will then email your nomination to our international communication manager Svetlana - sprokopets@hse.ru. Include the following information on your application: your name, email address, sex, field of study, study level (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD), and the desired length of study at HSE.
After HSE confirms your nomination with your home university, HSE will send you a welcome e-mail with instructions regarding the process and a link to your online profile. You will have to fill in the online profile and attach copies of the mandatory documents before the deadline.
List of required documents
- Passport
- University/college transcripts/records from current studies
- Academic reference (at least one)
- Motivation letter
- Photo (3x4 cm, passport format)
After all documents are submitted, a student will receive a letter of acceptance.
