It is also something that lecturers must be prepared to address. Through a pretest-posttest study, we analyze which sustainability values and attitudes preservice teacher acquire when they work with activities on sustainability. A total of 359 students completed the process. At the same time, we analyze the attitudes and knowledge held by the lecturers who carry out these activities in sustainability education. The findings regarding the difficulty students have in integrating the various aspects of sustainability are discussed, as well as the gaps and resistance of the lecturers who design and develop such processes. Future research could be designed in such a way that causal relationships could be established between the type of instructional design, the results obtained, and the conceptions and beliefs of lecturers regarding sustainability.

The psychology of learning and the neurosciences sustain an ongoing effort in the study of memory... more The psychology of learning and the neurosciences sustain an ongoing effort in the study of memory in order to facilitate teaching-learning processes. Special attention goes to Working Memory (WM), the conscious, short-term system where learning originates. Persons with cognitive deficiency, for example with Down Syndrome, present limiting conditions in phonological and visuospatial WM, with the latter being less affected. Gamified, digital learning resources, in a gestural interaction environment between human and computer, are proposed for stimulating new learning. We use a quasi-experimental methodology to measure the memory factor in image and text resources, both in a single class lesson and between lessons (Δt=1 wk.), in a population of three students (8 < cognitive age < 12) selected by their regular classroom teachers with the aim of a balanced sample. A lesson plan was personalized for each student, with 3 or 4 work sessions in a row, each lasting 6-12 minutes, and adapted to the computerized gestural interaction platform Tango:H. This lesson plan was repeated for 3 weeks with no changes in the learning resources or strategies. Results show a significant variation in recall between lessons, with a 99.95% confidence level; 100% recall was attained in 33% of the cases. There was no distinction between image- or text-based learning resources in terms of the recall factor; no significant difference in learning outcomes was found between different resource types.

The knowing of mechanisms and technological operators involved, being competences that are worked with special attention in the Technology classroom and help to consolidate knowledge, awaken the interest of students and motivate them towards research in the field of science and technology, as well as their capacity for analysis and reasoning. The research methodology is an action research, common to evaluative studies of educational innovation in training processes and improvement of professional practice. The selection of this teaching experience is due, on the one hand, to its innovation proposal integrating the methodological strategy of "Problem-Based Learning (ABP) being the backbone of the Technology area. On the other hand, the use of simulators, playing a fundamental role in the implementation of those processes embodied in projects that solve simple day-to-da...

A qualitative descriptive method was applied to a sample of Spanish social education university students. The data collected consisted of a content analysis of edublogs generated by each student surveyed. The results show the proportion of university students that belong to a positive feature of this new teaching mode: free (16.67%), brings benefits to most in need (13.61%), scheduling flexibility (10.88%), online education (9.52%), and the great diversity of courses offered by MOOC platforms (8.84%). It is concluded that the main advantage of MOOC courses is that they are free and that their main disadvantages are the scarcity of tutoring systems and the lack of evaluation in other teaching models.

One specific way companies do this is by fostering brand communities through fan pages on social networking sites. These virtual platforms allow consumers to become brand advocates. It also allows brands to generate and increase direct engagement with consumers, which is a key metric to assess brand performance. However, little is known about how different post criteria influences distinct levels of social media engagement. To explore this further, we developed a model to analyze the impact of 31 structural, semantic, and morphological content factors over consumer engagement, measured by the number of likes and comments on 680 brand posts from 14 Instagram fan pages across ten sectors. The results revealed a solid model, with an explanatory power of 73.1% (R2) for likes and 47.5% (R2) for comments. The results also established how content factors influenced different engagement levels; i.e. videos with sound, carousel posts with multiple photos, and posts with hashtags achieved higher engagement levels in terms of likes. Contrarily, graphics, interactive content that involved voting, contests, and questions reached higher engagement with regard to comments. We contribute to academic and practical research this new model to study and implement social media solutions that improve customer engagement as part of an organizations' marketing and branding strategies. The limitations of this paper relate to the size of the sample and the scope of the reviewed literature. INDEX TERMS Consumer engagement, consumer relationship management, Instagram, relationship marketing, social networking sites.

For this purpose, we have extracted the documents from the Scopus databases (search results for "influencer*" and "social media" were 817) and examined them with the bibliographic analysis tool VOSviewer. The description of the documents claims a fast pace in the last year 2020 (41% of all documents), the strong influence of the United States (29.5% of the documents) and the interesting interdisciplinarity between technical, scientific, and social subjects. The bibliometric analysis provided co-occurrences by keywords, with an increase in human and Instagram aspects, and co-authorships by nationalities with a strong Anglo-Saxon area of influence. In addition to the conclusions derived from the bibliometric analysis, digital citizenship education is claimed to critically address the impact of influencers on social networks.
