Hello my cunning snakes!
I've gone through and cut all inactive members from the dungeons (which unfortunately means you were also cut from the main communities as well) - and that makes me a SAD PANDA!
If you cannot see THIS POST then you've been cut!
To rejoin HiH, you must either contact your prefects HERE so we can notify the community of your return (at which point you will be accepted back into the main community) or go get resorted at platform_934.
Unless you go through your prefects, your hogwartsishome membership request will not be approved, so please make sure to go through us or get resorted! :)

That's right - Vampire Month is upon us!!
And while everyone has begun to change, we would like to give everyone the chance to score some new tags to celebrate! Welcome to the

We all know that real life happens and sometimes you need to take a step back from your online life and sometimes you just lose interest in the fandom altogether. We hope that for whatever reason you are leaving - you did enjoy your stay here in the dungeons!
If you are leaving the community for whatever reason (going on hiatus OR actually planning to leave for a while) please reply to this post. That way your prefects know who is actually around and who isn't.
If you remove yourself/are removed from the communities while you're gone, comment to this post to let us know that you've decided to come back to Slytherin House. You are also welcome to reapply at platform_934 to be resorted.

We all know that real life happens and sometimes you need to take a step back from your online life and sometimes you just lose interest in the fandom altogether. We hope that for whatever reason you are leaving - you did enjoy your stay here in the dungeons!
If you are leaving the community for whatever reason (going on hiatus OR actually planning to leave for a while) please reply to this post. That way your prefects know who is actually around and who isn't.
If you remove yourself/are removed from the communities while you're gone, comment to this post to let us know that you've decided to come back to Slytherin House. You are also welcome to reapply at platform_934 to be resorted.

Just posting a reminder here regarding the Order lottery! Here's how you can get some shiny points for our house!
1. Choose one of our promotional graphics... there are a bunch of them...... (OPTION #1 or OPTION #2 are a great way to start) to display on your LJ profile. Every week, we check the profile of one member from each house (as generated by the random member generator on The System) and we hand out points to those who have included promotional material pointing towards hogwartsishome or platform_934.
2. If you don't want to add a banner to your userinfo, you can instead use one of the text promos here and post it in your journal as a public entry for 25 points. *Note* said entry must be easily viewable (aka on your most recent entries page) when your journal is viewed by someone not on your friends list. If we don't find a banner in your userinfo, we will check your journal page to see if you've used one of these promos. Of course, you are welcome to post a promo in your journal in addition to having a banner in your userinfo, but you will not receive additional points for doing so.
The points breakdown for these options is:
- 25 points for a banner with a link
- 5 points for a banner with no link
- 5 points for text with a link
3. Referring a friend to hogwartsishome. If an applicant mentions your username in their application at platform_934, you get 5 points for your house! It's always fun to have friends join HiH, and you get points for it too.
In the case that the applicant lists more than one HiHer, the point breakdown will be:
- 1 person = 5pts
- 2 people = 4pts each
- 3 people = 3pts each
- 4 people = 2pts each
- 5 people = 1pt each
