These changes are especially evident in the relationship between Web 2.0 platforms and academic library communities. This paper will argue that Web 2.0 applications offer significant benefits to academic libraries in terms of their community services. First, this paper will provide background information about Web 2.0, including a definition and description of its functions. Second, it will present a global overview of the use of Web 2.0 in academic libraries and highlight three views of why academic libraries neglect Web 2.0 applications: (1) insufficient staff administration, (2) complicated access to library services, and (3) lack of appeal for users and staff. Finally, this paper will challenge these perspectives and assert that Web 2.0 platforms can introduce vast improvements in the academic library context with respect to the effective exchange of information and promoting library services.

There are great debates about the concept of KM and its frameworks in organizations. This paper presents a literature review of the notion of knowledge management in the institutional environment. First, it discusses the various definitions of knowledge management. Then, it follows with an overview of knowledge management background. Finally, it highlights the great debates of knowledge management in some conceptual foundations and
authors evaluations, including tacit and explicit knowledge.

First, it highlights the essential argument of the RWMC. It provides also information about the reading materials that have increased knowledge of the specific subject of Web Media and it explains how the digital content will be accessible and viewable by a large number on the Internet. Second, it points out some background about the media format and the reason of indicated format to present the RWMC. Then, it shows some negative aspects of the media format and how will be overcome. Third, it discusses the copyright issues related to the RWMC and the ways of borrows materials for the media project. Finally, it presents a timeline of the process of preparing the Reflective Web Media Creation production.

One of these crucial issues is waste. According to Australian Bureau of statistics (2007, p. 5), waste can be defined as “any product or substance that has no further use for the person on organization that generated it, and which is, or will be, discarded. It may be solid, liquid or
gaseous”. In fact, this problem has significantly appeared in many countries in the world, and Australia is one of these countries, which becomes the third country in the world, has the biggest amount of solid waste (O' Connor, 2007, p. 1). This essay will highlight the situation
of waste issue in Australia. Then, it will show the causes of this problem, such as the rise of population. It will also argue that this issue can be partially solved by various sustainable solutions including recycling and reducing the consumption. This is mainly due to the culture
of consumption in the Australian community.

printed book is one of these objects, which has been reinvented into an electronic book. According to
Vassiliou and Rowley (cited in Ghaebi and Fahimifar, 2011, p. 778), an e-book can be defined as
“a digital object with features that can be provided in an electronic environment”. In addition, both
Cope and Kalantzis (2001, p. 146); Lai and Chang (2011, p. 1) mention that the initial electronic
reader was the Sony Bookman, which appeared in 1992. Since then, the rate of e-book sales has
rapidly increased from year to year. According to Polanka (2012, p. 71); Dewan (2012, p. 1),
Amazon, which is one of the famous online publishers, emphasizes that more electronic books have
been bought than physical books since 2001, and this indicates that web books fill a significant need
for readers. This situation is also viewed by Cope and Kalantzis (2001, p. 224); Lai and Chang
(2011, p. 2), who clarify that a majority of libraries in many countries in the world have focused on
e-book technology. In light of the above, it is no surprise that e-books are being widely discussed for
use in academics. This essay will argue that using electronic books can be efficient in academic
study. It will also highlight four perspectives against using e-book in academic learning which are
depending on technical features, complicating access, associating with leisure reading and restricting
reading skills.

As a result, the literature about this management concept has grown in its quantity and quality. According to Magd and Hamza (2012), basic economic resources are comprised not only of capital, or natural resources, or workers, but also of knowledge, which will be the main engine of activities leading to wealth and the production of new projects; hence, many researchers have studied the principles of knowledge management and the ways to
implement them within organizations. This paper explains some principles of knowledge management. First, it presents several definitions of the term ‘principle.’ Then, it highlights the background of knowledge management. Finally, it discusses three principles of knowledge management: the expensive of knowledge management (unintelligent concept), the importance of managers, and the fact that improving knowledge means sharing.
