A twenty-three item scale was developed and the data was collected from 323 employees of the healthcare sector of Istanbul and the Multiple Regression Analysis was used as the statistical technique. Results indicated that all the dimensions of workplace spirituality namely meaningful work, spiritual association, compassion, and alignment values have a significant negative association with the turnover intentions. Therefore, it is recommended that practitioners in the healthcare sector of Istanbul be realize the importance of spirituality at the workplace in order to reduce the turnover intention among the employees

This study employs a quantitative methodology for whichquestionnaires were distributed to on-campus staff at the university and a sample of 138 responses was collected for multiple regression analysis. Statistical Packages (SPSS) software was used to analyze the structure model. The results show that the motivation factors such as social interaction, trust, management support, learning orientation and motivation can provide explanation of knowledge sharing. This study found a positive correlation between sharing knowledge and the social interaction. Therefore, this study suggests that when knowledge is built and is shared then it creates a positive impact on an organizations employees. The aim of this study is to investigate the role of employee engagement as a mediator between the... more The aim of this study is to investigate the role of employee engagement as a mediator between the High-Performance Work System and the Service-Oriented Organizational Citizenship Behavior (Service-Oriented OCB). Furthermore, work-life balance as a moderator, the impact Service-Oriented OCB on customer satisfaction will be investigated. This study employs a quantitative methodology for which questionnaires were distributed to sixty restaurants in Karachi, and a sample of 418 responses was collected for structural equation modeling analysis. Smart PLS software was used to analyze the structure model. The results show that HPWS has a positive impact on Service-Oriented OCB. It is assumed that the role of work engagement as a mediator between HPWS and Service-Oriented OCB is significant. This study found that Service-Oriented OCB has a positive impact on customer satisfaction. Work-life balance was also found to have a moderating influence. The findings confirmed the black box mechanism and the HPWS procedures in restaurants. This study suggests implementing effective HPWS practices to influence employees' work engagement, which leads to Service-Oriented OCB and employees being able to optimize their performance to influence customer satisfaction. The study contributes to the existing body of knowledge in human resource management.

This study employs the quantitative approach for analysis. A sample of 208 respondents was collected from the textile factories based in Karachi and Faisalabad. Data was analyzed using the PLS-SEM technique. PLS-SEM algorithm was used to check the validity and reliability of the data. PLS-SEM bootstrapping was used for studying the impact. The results show that the skills have an insignificant impact on organizational performance. Education and skills have an insignificant indirect impact on the performance of an organization. Assuming work/life imbalance prevails more in developing countries like Pakistan along with high level of work pressures. This study examines and tests the impact of work life balance and job satisfaction on person’s social life as well as personal life. The results indicate that most of the employees are not satisfied their work-life balance as more time is spent at work with is much more than the official duty timings. The main reason of the time which employees want is to have their Work Life Balance. The study further illustrates that work life balance varies as the change of gender as well as marital status and it differs from person to person. In this study samples of 150 respondents has been collected and tested the reliability of the model. According to the finding of the research study, it has been observed that the packaging is the most important factor. It is further concluded that the packaging elements like its Colour, Packaging material, Design of Wrapper and innovation are more important factors when consumers making any buying decision. This study investigates the role of service innovation as a mediator between FinTech adoption and... more This study investigates the role of service innovation as a mediator between FinTech adoption and firm growth. Furthermore, the study also explores the role of human resource competency in FinTech adoption. Survey questionnaires were given to participants in this study, which used a quantitative methodology and were distributed to fifty-five United States banks. A sample of 311 responses was collected and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that human resource competencies such as creating, adapting (to change), deciding to initiate action and interpreting analysis positively impact FinTech adoption. This study also discovered that service innovation contributes to firm growth. The findings confirmed the influence of human resource competencies on FinTech adoption in banks. This study suggests implementing effective human resource practices to develop employee competencies. Employee performance can be optimized to impact service innovation and business growth, which promotes the adoption of FinTech. The research adds to the body of knowledge already available by providing evidence of mediating role between FinTech adoption and firm growth.

Validity of CAPM and Preference of APT over CAPM has been interest of academia as well as professionals. This research investigates number of potential factors explaining returns in Turkish markets as suggested by Ross (1980) when presented APT. For this purpose data of Istanbul Stock All exchanges from January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2013 has been used all the listed companies have been considered for this purpose. Our results suggest that in most of portfolios made for purpose of this research has two significant factors explaining returns although most of portfolios were having three orthogonal factors. It was rare that three factors were significantly explaining returns but it was not investigated that what are those factors.

This paper attempts to expand the literature by identifying the factors which result in creation of this gap through a comprehensive review of literature, specially focusing the key countries in which studies are made regarding audit expectation gap as well as to highlight the groups among which the audit expectation gap exists, so that all necessary aspects should be taken into necessary consideration, and necessary attempts should be made to cover it. It is revealed that audit expectation gap exists due to difference of opinions about the factors like auditors' role with respect to company and financial statements, audit knowledge, auditor's attitude towards their profession, audit process, auditors' independence, fraud detection, importance of auditing, preparation of financial statements, performance of company, parties to whom auditors are responsible, prohibitions and regulations of audit firm, reliability of financial reports and usefulness of financial statements among auditors, accountants, bankers, brokers, creditors, directors, educators, government, investors, journalists, jurors, shareholder, students and government. Various policy implications are also discussed herewith.

In the subject of human resources management, the term ‘Psychological Contract' refers to the actual but unwritten expectancy of an employee toward their employer (Shruthi, & Hemanth, 2012). This study involves the data collection from twelve interviews following critical incident technique. The findings support the survey on psychological contract breach that how employees feel when their promises breach and feel betray and revealing both the prevalence and the negative consequences of contract breach. In this study samples of 150 respondents has been collected and tested the reliability of the model. According to the finding of the research study, it has been observed that the packaging is the most important factor. It is further concluded that the packaging elements like its Colour, Packaging material, Design of Wrapper and innovation are more important factors when consumers making any buying decision. Furthermore, the study also explores the role of human resource competency in FinTech adoption. Survey questionnaires were given to participants in this study, which used a quantitative methodology and were distributed to fifty-five United States banks. A sample of 311 responses was collected and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that human resource competencies such as creating, adapting (to change), deciding to initiate action and interpreting analysis positively impact FinTech adoption. This study also discovered that service innovation contributes to firm growth. The findings confirmed the influence of human resource competencies on FinTech adoption in banks. This study suggests implementing effective human resource practices to develop employee competencies. Employee performance can be optimized to impact service innovation and business growth, which promotes the adoption of FinTech. The research adds to the body of knowledge already available by providing evidence of mediating role between FinTech adoption and firm growth.

Validity of CAPM and Preference of APT over CAPM has been interest of academia as well as professionals. This research investigates number of potential factors explaining returns in Turkish markets as suggested by Ross (1980) when presented APT. For this purpose data of Istanbul Stock All exchanges from January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2013 has been used all the listed companies have been considered for this purpose. Our results suggest that in most of portfolios made for purpose of this research has two significant factors explaining returns although most of portfolios were having three orthogonal factors. It was rare that three factors were significantly explaining returns but it was not investigated that what are those factors.

This paper attempts to expand the literature by identifying the factors which result in creation of this gap through a comprehensive review of literature, specially focusing the key countries in which studies are made regarding audit expectation gap as well as to highlight the groups among which the audit expectation gap exists, so that all necessary aspects should be taken into necessary consideration, and necessary attempts should be made to cover it. It is revealed that audit expectation gap exists due to difference of opinions about the factors like auditors' role with respect to company and financial statements, audit knowledge, auditor's attitude towards their profession, audit process, auditors' independence, fraud detection, importance of auditing, preparation of financial statements, performance of company, parties to whom auditors are responsible, prohibitions and regulations of audit firm, reliability of financial reports and usefulness of financial statements among auditors, accountants, bankers, brokers, creditors, directors, educators, government, investors, journalists, jurors, shareholder, students and government. Various policy implications are also discussed herewith.

The role of TM in enhancing organizational performance is a critical challenge in where the strategic staff is considered as a talent of the organization. The present study aims to measure the influence of TM on organizational performance particularly in service sector companies in Pakistan. The study uses survey method to collect the data from the organization. Descriptive and inferential tests are performed. The results reveal the significant effect of talent management on organizational overall performance. The findings recommend the HR directors to design TM scheme for all levels of employees within organization. The results are useful for preparing strategies for employee attraction, retention, learning & development and career development.
