Okay, so this one looks like it needs a bit more air, but clearly the new inflatable Daleks are going to be WAY better than the old version. They've got real bumps for a start, instead of painted-on circles. And they're remote controlled and they talk!

PS- Dalek easter eggs are available again at M&S. This year they're Dalek Sec, twice as big as last year's ones, and have a soundchip too.

black_dalek: Peter Hawkins RIP

Peter Hawkins, the original Dalek voice, died last month. Here's a really nice obituary by Nicholas Briggs in the current Doctor Who Magazine. I had no idea he was also Tony the Tiger and the entire cast of Captain Pugwash. He'll be missed.
