Communications on Applied Electronics (CAE), Foundation of Computer Science FCS, New York, USA, – ISSN : 2394-4714, 2016

This research paper proposed a preprocessing technique based on image to improve the quality of underwater digital images. The mixed Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equilization (CLAHE) has actually neglected the utilization of L*A*B color image space to improve the image in an effective way. Also the uneven illumination problem is also ignored by many researchers. To conquer the problems of on hand technique a brand new L*A*B color image space as well as CLAHE based digital image enhancement technique is proposed in this paper. To conquer the problem of uneven illumination in the resultant image of the CLAHE image output has been further removed by utilizing the smoothing process of image gradient. The main objective of the planned algorithm is to enhance the accuracy of the underwater digital image enhancement methods/techniques. Various types of digital images will be considered for experimental point of view to estimate the efficacy of the image enhancement methods or techniques. Also, various types of image top-quality metrics have been utilized in order to check the significant improvement of the recommended technique over the offered techniques. The significant improvements have shown in the comparative analysis of the proposed algorithm over the available mixed CLAHE. Keywords Preprocessing Underwater Image, CLAHE, L*A*B* Color Image Space, Image Gradient, Image Enhancement, Image Smoothing

The criterion for checking the similarity is implementation dependent. If data has some meaning and it corresponds to a human being, than how we can group it in an image or a video. In this research work, we have used three types of algorithms for group detection in an image. In this paper three types of algorithms are used in group detection which detects groups in an image linear dimensionally.

The issue with pictures is that, their quality depends upon a number of different variables like lighting in the picture catching area, commotion and capability of the administrator. The writing addresses the verbalized issue widely and presents answers for them. Contrast improvement systems are used for correcting visual nature of low difference pictures. Histogram Equalization (HE) is one such procedure used for difference upgrade. The proposed illustrations have a few shared traits in their procedures. Approximately every one of them is at fluctuation either in histogram leveling strategies or in picture quality estimation instruments. An instrument is lost in the writing that is proficient to improve the picture and even perform the examination. In this paper, a GUI apparatus is composed which is coupled with different procedures of picture improvement through histogram balance. Opening-by-recreation is a standout amongst the most effective picture division strategy is used to attain to the craved results. To assess the adequacy of the delineated systems; PSNR, Tenengrad, and Absolute Mean Brightness mistake (AMBE) are used as parameters. The results are decently backed by the parameter estimations toward the end.

grown to be an astringent concern with the availability of powerful image processing tools. Among various
image forgery approaches, copy-move forgery is the commonly used technique in which a component of the
image is facsimiled and pasted in order to hide extraneous portion of the image. Square block matching
technique is utilized to detect this kind of forgery. In this paper, firstly input image is divided into overlapping
chunks. Features of the small blocks are extracted by making use of Local binary pattern texture method.
Further blocks are lexicographically sorted and lastly duplicated blocks are identified utilizing the similarity
criterion and Euclidean distance threshold.

grown to be a severe concern, owing to easy and liberated accessibility of puissant image processing tools. The
literature addresses the stated issue extensively and presents solutions to them. The proposed elucidations have
some commonalities in their methodologies. Nearly all of them are at variance either in feature extraction or in
similarity measure used for forgery detection. A tool is missing in the literature that is capable to detect forgery
on the choice of feature or similarity measure (the other steps of forgery detection remains same as these are
extracted commonalities), and even perform the comparisons. In this paper, a GUI tool is proposed and
designed to detect the Copy-Move forgery in digital images. This tool localizes image areas that are identical or
extremely similar. Firstly, the tool decomposes the input image into number of overlapping chunks. It is
followed by desired feature extraction. Further, duplicated regions are identified using the chosen similarity
criterion. This approach allows the flexibility in selection of feature and similarity measure.
