📢 Bundesminister Cem Özdemir zu Besuch bei KitchenTown Berlin! Am Dienstagnachmittag hatten wir Besuch vom #Bundesminister für #Ernährung und #Landwirtschaft, Cem Özdemir und seinem Team aus Vertreter*innen des Bundesministeriums für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft (BMEL). Nach einer Führung durch unsere Innovationsflächen gaben wir Einblicke in die verschiedenen Technologien und Entwicklungsstadien innerhalb des Food-Ökosystems. Im Rahmen des Besuchs stellten sich drei Unternehmen aus der KitchenTown Community vor. Esencia Foods mit Gründer Hendrik Kaye, BettaFish mit Lilith Gawol (Business Development), Miriam Gößmann (Lebensmitteltechnologin) und Thorsten Behnk (Koch und Produktentwickler) und vly mit Gründer Nicolas Hartmann. Dabei erläuterten die #Startups ihr Angebot und sprachen auch über #Herausforderungen z.B. bei der Kommerzialisierung nachhaltiger Zutaten oder bei der Skalierung neuer #Produktionstechnologien. Cem Özdemir betonte in seinem Statement: "Für die Entwicklung von verschiedensten Produkten, aber auch für die Finanzierung und die Markteinführung braucht es Orte, an denen Gründer, Ideengeber und Investoren zusammenkommen können.
