Many people only know Miles & More GmbH from our Miles & More loyalty programme, but we also bring our expertise in customer loyalty and retail to our other brand: Worldshop 🛍 - a retail platform consisting of the online shop worldshop.eu and our ten shops at Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Berlin and Vienna airports. Most recently, we opened an exclusive Experience Store in the First Class Terminal at Frankfurt Airport. With many years of retail experience, we have an established process and service provider structure as well as in-depth knowledge of popular product groups and consumer needs. After flight and upgrade awards and hotel and car rental offers, the Worldshop is the most frequently used option for redeeming awards - either in full with miles or pro-rata with Cash & Miles. Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of being part of the Lufthansa Group Aviation Day in the exclusive Emergency Hall of the Lufthansa Aviation Training Group. At this recruiting event, aviation enthusiasts were able to immerse themselves in the world of aviation – and we were right in the middle of it! ✈️ From inspiring discussions to exclusive insights into Miles & More GmbH as an employer – it was an all-round successful event. At our booth, we not only offered delicious popcorn 🍿 but also lots of information about working for Miles & More GmbH. Visitors also had the chance to win products from our Worldshop – and one lucky participant even took home a premium trolley from our Aluminium Collection! 🧳🎉We would like to thank all of our visitors for the engaging conversations and their great interest in our work. Standing together for diversity and inclusion beyond Pride 🌈 Taking part in this year's Pride events in Munich and Frankfurt was more than just celebrating with music and friends. Christopher Street Day is a peaceful protest, a statement of acceptance and tolerance for the LGBTQIA+ community, especially at a time when acceptance is facing new challenges even in Western countries. At Miles & More GmbH, we proudly participated in Frankfurt and Munich, joining our colleagues from Lufthansa Group on a vibrant truck organised by Diversifly, the LGBTQIA+ network. It was not only a moment of joy, but also a powerful message: we believe in a world where everyone can live freely, equally and with dignity. Have you ever wondered how a simple change of perspective can spark new ideas or connections? ✨ We're about to find out: we're introducing a monthly 'perspective shift' to our marketing team. With over 50 people, it's easy to get stuck in routines and stick to familiar faces. On the first Wednesday of every month, we'll be shuffling around the marketing department. 🔁 This rotation is all about breaking that cycle. The aim? To help us look at our work from a fresh perspective, strengthen collaboration and get to know teammates we don't interact with on a daily basis. Through our 'perspective shift', we're creating opportunities to connect with colleagues we don't normally work closely with and gain insight into their roles and perspectives. What is the key to customer loyalty? Understanding their journey. 🗺 That's why our recent Customer Impact Day focused on deepening our understanding of Miles & More members through interactive workshops and data-driven insights. Our colleagues explored how to improve the customer experience through tools, analysis and customer feedback, while also enjoying time for discussion and knowledge sharing. Highlights included understanding the 'miles flow' - how and when Miles & More members earn and redeem miles - and improving our Challenge Centre based on customer feedback. Guilds, Squads and Chapters – Sounds like the basis of an adventure story to you? It is! 🤠 As part of our "Miles & More GmbH 2027" strategy, we decided to take the adventurous path of agile working to achieve our goal of developing products and services in a more efficient, innovative and customer-centric way. Knowing that the foundation of agile working is a well-thought-out structure, we created the "MLab". The M stands for the Miles & More GmbH as a whole. The Lab embodies the innovative spirit of this working model and represents the experimental breeding ground on which we continue to evolve. 🔭 It is based on guilds and squads: ⚡ Guilds are like groups of craftsmen who share their skills and knowledge to work together on challenging tasks. Each guild focuses on a specific area of expertise or competence, such as data analysis, product concept & design or customer service. ⚡ Squads are our adventure groups. These groups bring together experts from different guilds to tackle a specific initiative, such as our “My Challenge” feature in the app or the development of tools for a better programme experience as part of the Experience Pioneers Squad. Each squad is autonomous and self-organised, encouraging cross-departmental collaboration for an efficient and flexible way of working. Would you believe that our Miles & More programme has at least one member in every country in the world? 🌏 Individuals that make use of our offers can be found all over the world, in cities, in the countryside and even on the smallest islands. Did you know that there are around 2,000 islands in Micronesia, of which only about 60 are inhabited? These 60 islands are home to around 80 Miles & More members. New features for our Miles & More customers on the new Homescreen, in your profile, and when booking award flights! #LHGAppInsights ✈ New profile features and a new booking experience coming along the way with the Lufthansa Group App. Our latest updates are designed to make navigating your loyalty benefits and booking flights easier and more intuitive: ⚙ Enhanced Homescreen: Logged-in Miles & More members will now see their service card prominently displayed on the home screen, with its color reflecting your status level. That is blue for Base, silver for Frequent Traveller, gold for Senator and black for HON Circle Member. ⚙ Quick access: Find two boxes on the profile tab once you are logged-in: One link directs you to detailed information about the status program, and the other highlights the benefits of your current and next status level. ⚙ Award flight search: We’ve streamlined the process of booking award flights! A new button in the “Book” section allows you to search and book award flights directly within the App. Any search parameters will carry over seamlessly to the booking page, making the experience more efficient.
