I was a panel presenter for the "Supporting the Needs of New and Beginning Farmers" panel at the 2019 SAFSF Forum, the only national gathering for and by funders supporting just and sustainable food systems change. Additionally, as Executive Director of Hilltop Urban Farm, we hosted a tour of the Farmer Incubation Program, the first at-scale adult urban farm business incubator in the United States.

The Mobile Permaculture Bus was a converted school bus project that featured aquaponics, on board water catchment, a mobile seed shop and apothecary, solar panel installation, a wood burning stove & veggie oil conversion. I was part of a Semi-Finalist team selected for the Food System Vision Prize launched by The Rockefeller Foundation and powered by SecondMuse and OpenIDEO. This effort called on organizations around the world to envision a nourishing, regenerative food system for 2050. My team was selected as one of 79 Semi-Finalists from over 1,300 submissions for this prestigious Prize.
