‘Godfather Of Harlem’ Casts Kathrine Narducci; Juan Riedinger Joins ‘Claws’ (original) (raw)

Kathrine Narducci (The Sopranos) is set for a recurring role opposite Vincent D’Onofrio in Godfather of Harlem, Epix’s straight-to-series crime drama from Narcos co-creator Chris Brancato and Paul Eckstein and ABC Signature Studios. Written by Brancato and Eckstein, Godfather of Harlem is inspired by the story of infamous crime boss Bumpy Johnson (Forest Whitaker), who in the early 1960s returned from 10 years in prison to find the neighborhood he once ruled in shambles. With the streets controlled by the Italian mob, Bumpy must take on the Genovese crime family to regain control. During the brutal battle, he forms an alliance with radical preacher Malcolm X (Nigél Thatch) – catching Malcolm’s political rise in the crosshairs of social upheaval and a mob war that threatens to tear the city apart. Narducci will play Olympia Gigante, the long-suffering wife of mafia boss Vincent ‘Chin’ Gigante (D’Onofrio). Fiercely protective of her husband, she acts as an intermediary between her stepdaughter Stella (Lucy Fry) and Chin as their relationship spirals into madness. Narducci, known for her long run on The Sopranos, can be seen starring alongside Emily Ratajkowski in Rob Siegel-directed Cruise and in American Dresser opposite Bruce Dern. She’ll next be seen opposite Tom Hardy in Fonzo and in Martin Scorsese’s anticipated The Irishman, which will be released on Netflix. She is repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
