Yes, you've probably been spammed by one of the other two communities, but here it is just in case. Besides, it's a great shame to see gatherings of literate and astute writers like this quietly fade into obscurity amidst the deluge of badfic. (I made the error of using google to find Tom/Minerva fic. The grammar, it burns, it burns!)

This was previously "Player of Games" but the combination of various users crawling from the woodwork and the final of "Dresden: das Inferno" compelled me to take a...different...perspective on the story.
It's Marvoloverse compliant, as that was my gold standard for HP backstory until canon fleshed Tom's history out a bit (and I still prefer mctabby's version).

Warnings: Too many references to WWII, wordiness and the occasional snarky conversation. May quote Nietzsche.
Summary: A series of vignettes from both points of view, from Tom and Minerva's first conversation to Hogwarts, through the Muggle and wizarding wars and into her tenure as a professor.

The rarepair_shorts-issue table is here with links to the currently finished stories. 4 down, 7 to go, so I would very much appreciate feedback on the character details.
