depp_claims is a community that enables you to claim a certain Johnny Depp item. Besides features relating directly to him, only his movie things are up for claims. No documentary, TV appearances or video clips are up for claims.

You can see a full claim list here. Please check this list before posting your claim. You are allowed three claims only. For every item there is only allowed two claimers, except for Johnny Depp himself - five can have him. These claims are taken on a first come, first served basis. You can switch claims, but if you switch every time a new movie is released I will refuse to constantly change it.

You can obtain more claims if you are an active member, contribute to the community or if you refer someone to the community. If you refer someone make sure they place in their claim post your username. Another way is if you place the community button in your user info, then you get an extra claim.

When making a claim, make it in a new post. Claims made in a comment will be ignored. When making a post for a claim please put in your subject "I Wanna Claim a Johnny." This is so I know you have read this. Please follow the below format for Depp items:

Item Heading (ie: Body Parts)
The Item (ie: Johnny's Eyes)

And follow the below format for Depp movie items:

Movie Title (ie: Benny & Joon)
Particular Area (ie: Characters)
The Item (ie: Sam)

Besides the ones listed in the claims area please abide the few following extra ones:

• When you wish to switch a claim make a new post in the community with the subject title "A Claimable Switch." In this post follow the right format and state your old claim & the new one to replace the old.
• Other non-claim posts are allowed, but minimal. These posts must be Johnny Depp related or will be deleted. If posting an image, please place it behind an lj-cut like so:
