[Tags\|metalocalypse]Okay, folks, the Metalocalypse is upon us. And I want to mention something:Twitter Ratings.Yep, Nielsen and TV people are now paying attention to Twitter postings on shows. It's how Sharknado got so much attention. It's regular viewing ratings weren't that much better for Syfy than any other movie/show. But Twitter blew up about it and made it a sensation.Let's try this with Metalocalypse. If I remember the info about it correctly, they track from 3 hours before to 3 hours after a show. Which would be from 9 PM Eastern to 4 AM Eastern, plus 3 hours for the west coast and 3 more hours to Hawaii.So, a few hints/suggestions:1.) Use #Metalocalypse. Not sure if #Dethklok would be counted, but the Metalocalypse hashtag will be counted.2.) East coasters, please try to keep spoilers out of your posts. Granted, 140 character limit helps a lot, but remember the West coasters.3.) So, post early, post often. Not sure if reblogs count, but do it all!

BDO 2014 second lineup coming September10.08.2013	Scrussell	0 CommentsThe second lineup announcement for Big Day Out 2014 will probably be posted in mid-September, says Adam Zammit.The Big Day Out CEO revealed the information when replying to somebody on Twitter, and festival boss Ken West has mentioned that people can expect some heavier bands on the second lineup. One band that seems highly likely to appear is Dethklok, who just hadn't “quite gotten it together for [the first] announcement”, according to West. Tickets for Big Day Out 2014 are currently on sale.

For some reason, there will be a 4 episode mini marathon of Metalocalypse on Adult Swim next Saturday, July 6th from 11 PM to Midnight. Yeah, on Anime Night. And the Sunday at 1 AM episode is still there and it's back to the normal Saturday schedule on the 13th.It's going to Fanklok, Prankklok, Motherklok, and Dethcamp. All 4th season episodesMight have something to do with SDCC, but so far, there is nothing Metalocalypse related scheduled for SDCC.Edited to add: Adult Swim has finally released it's schedule for SDCC and there is no Metalocalypse programing. He talks about music, Dethklok, touring, his other bands, etc. It's fairly long, but very goodOne of the things to listen for is late in the cast when he is talking about he has lined up for the year. He mentions something about "there may be something with Dethklok later in the year, but you never know with Dethklok."
