Builder not creating JavaScript project using GNOME application template (original) (raw)

Hi

I notice builder doesn’t allow creation of a new JavaScript project using the “GNOME application” template but I was able to create one using the “GNOME application(Legacy)” template. Why is that? I assume “GNOME application” template creates a project for GNOME 40.

yes we have these categories for all languages. If a language is not provided (yet) then we disable the template. We are happy if someone steps up and provides a template for GJS and Gtk4. We are mainly C programmers and are not proficient enough to create a template for all languages :slight_smile:

The kind @fmuellner provided a template in order to fill the gap. If you are using GNOME Builder Nightly it should be available.
