Process gnome-shell consumes more than 300% cpu (original) (raw)

Hello,

I have the following configuration for my server:

Rocky Linux release 9.5 (Blue Onyx)
kernel 5.14.0-503.26.1.el9_5.x86_64
VirtualBox 7.1.6r167084
gnome 40.4.0

The problem I have is that gnome-shell consumes too much CPU, even without moving the mouse

I looked for information and they suggested me to run the following commands:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface clock-show-seconds false
gsettings set org.gnome.shell disable-user-extensions true

But the problem persists, please can you help me identify and solve the problem.
