Hi, I’m Taha, currently pursuing my degree in CSE
I’m working on web security based project for GSoC upcoming year and would appreciate any guidance to refine my proposal.

Draft Idea:

• Problem: Existing WAFs are costly or complex; small businesses need a simpler option.
• Solution: Flask-based WAF with traffic logging, basic rule sets (e.g., IP restrictions), and a simple dashboard.
• Skills: Python (Flask), web dev, Nginx/Waitress deployment.
• Need help with: Proposal refinement, security rule design, and scalability practices.
