PyPI community organisation creation (original) (raw)

Does anyone know what the lead time for this might be now that they’ve caught up with the overall queue?
I’ve read the thread:

And it seems they were able to handle 1000 applications in 3 days in May. Which is impressive! And I wouldn’t be surprised if they took some time off after having been going hard for months.

I’m just wondering how long would a new community organisation be expected to wait in the “request submitted” state now?
I’ve registered a community organization a week ago. I understand that’s not very long given that others had to wait near enough 2 years. I’m just wondering what the queue might be like now.
Does anyone have any first hand experience?

From the thread above, I understand there’s a lot of back log in terms of requests “awaiting response”. Am I right in assuming that’s another state? How do they make contact if they require further information?

We’re just kinda catching up post PyCon. This week will be the first full week after PyCon with most PSF Staff back in the office, so I’d anticipate before end of week we’ll catch up, including your request.
