Moreover, it introduces conformable fractional analogs to expected values, rth moments, rth central moments, mean, variance, skewness and kurtosis. In addition, it introduces conformable fractional analogs to some entropy measures, namely, Shannon, Renyi and Tsallis entropy measures together with Awad sup- entropy counter parts of these three measures. All these concepts had been applied to the conformable fractional chi- square probability distribution.

There are several censoring schemes that have been discussed in literature. In this paper we consider Type-II progressive right censoring scheme where the unit lifetimes follow Pareto distribution with shape and scale parameters ( , ). A new optimality criterion is suggested; it depends on maximizing the efficiency of censored samples based on Awad sup-entropy measures. We find that the optimal censoring scheme is a one step censoring.

The Vajda information measure depends on a parameter under which a family of measure can be derived from. One main objective of this paper is to look for the best range of and the corresponding range of sample size n under which the random variable belonging to Poisson or binomial distributions can be approximated by a random variable following the normal distribution in the sense of the central limit theorem, and a random variable belonging the Poisson distribution can be approximated by a random variable following the binomial distribution based on the concept of the relative loss in information due to approximation. The same concept of approximating between random variables that belonging to different statistical distributions is applied to Bhattacharyya information measure with the purpose of determining the sample size n for which the relative loss in information measure is less than a given accuracy level .

In the literature there are several optimality criteria. This paper concentrates on investigating the possibility of using entropy-information measures to design an optimality type-II progressive censoring scheme with an illustrative application to a simple form of Pareto distribution. According to the suggested criterion, a censoring scheme is called optimal if it maximizes an informational efficiency function that is defined as the ratio of available information in the censored sample to the available information in the complete sample. The paper provides mathematical formulas for the efficiency of progressive type-II censoring scheme based on sixteen entropy-information measures. It turns out that all six information measures under consideration do not help in picking an optimal scheme since their values are free of the censoring scheme vector. To select a sup-entropy measure that leads to an optimal scheme, we have designed a Mathematica-7 code that can compute the numerical value for each of the ten sup-entropy measures that are used in this paper. An illustrative numerical example showed that the optimal scheme is a one step censoring from left after observing first failure.
