At Maersk Management Consulting (MMC), we offer a wide range of management consulting services to all business units in A.P. Moller-Maersk, primarily focusing on strategy, organization, transformation and change management programs. Our team consists of around 50 people representing more than 20 nationalities and diverse backgrounds - from economics and business to engineering and law. We work out of the A.P. Moller-Maersk HQ in Copenhagen, Denmark and from our satellite office in Singapore. Our colleagues bring experience from top-tier external consulting firms, are talents from the business, or graduates with impressive academic performance. Get to know Emma better here: 🎤 Q: What surprised you most when you joined the team? 🎙️ A: I was really surprised by how international Maersk as a company and not at least the team at MMC is! With over 20 nationalities, I have learned so much about different working cultures, ways of communicating, and ways of approaching a problem. And all these nationalities contribute to building a very special culture that is super unique to MMC. 🎤 Q: What is the best part of working in the city of Copenhagen? ️ A: I appreciate Denmark’s strong culture of collaboration and open communication. Feedback is highly encouraged which allows me to learn and grow at a faster pace. Also, Copenhagen is a great place to live. In my opinion it is as vibrant and lively as other European capitals while still keeping a small-town, cozy feel.

MMC is full of enthusiastic, ambitious individuals who excel at what they do whilst also making the workplace somewhere you look forward to going to every morning. 🎤 Q: What is the best part of working in Singapore? 🎙️ A: The best part of working in Singapore is quite simple: everything works exactly as it should, from my local 7eleven to the infrastructure of the entire city.   📢 Maersk continued to deliver strong business performance in the third quarter with growth across all business segments and financial results significantly above last year. On the back of the strong quarter combined with robust container market demand and the continuation of the Red Sea situation, on October 21 we upgraded our guidance for 2024. 🚢 Ocean delivered substantially increased profitability and responded to the recurring network disruptions with high agility by leveraging our hub terminals and investing in capacity and equipment to mitigate the supply chain impact on our customers. 🚚 Logistics & Services delivered a strong quarter with revenue growth due to increased volumes across most product families and continued steady recovery of profitability. 🏗️ Terminals continued to deliver strong revenue growth, particularly in North America where volume remained strong. I felt that the team cared for my interests throughout the interview process, which was a huge indicator of the potential treatment I was to have after. Though we outpaced last year’s record by 1 minute and 30 seconds, one of our incredible Maersk Management Consulting (MMC) teams secured a strong second place out of 180 A.P.
