Seoul, Dubai, Barcelona, Tokyo, Utrecht, Køln, Paris … Rejsemålene er linet op for en stribe af de fremstød og messer, som DI forbereder for medlemsvirksomheder, der vil øge deres eksport. 70årige Niels Osterberg og ORANA A/S's frugtekstrakter har været med i 30 år, mens forsvarsvirksomheden UVX Technologies er med på cirka 10 årlige forsvarsmesser. - For danske aktører i industrien er det en kæmpefordel at stå skulder ved skulder til forsvarsmesser – ikke mindst hvis også det danske forsvar og regering er repræsenteret, fortæller Frederik Bergenfelt Friis, som er strategidirektør (CSO) i UVX. Fremstødene har i årevis været et vigtigt aktiv for DI’s internationale afdeling. Alene i 2023 blev der afholdt i 67 forskellige aktiviteter i 25 lande for 573 virksomheder, i 2024 var tallet 63 aktiviteter i 26 lande med 752 virksomheder. I 2025 vil aktiviteterne stige yderligere. Virksomhedernes potentielle eksportmål skifter løbende i takt med de globale tendenser. Også i 2025, hvor den geopolitiske usikkerhed smitter på aktiviteterne. - Interessen lige nu er størst for de mere sikre markeder såsom USA, Europa, Indien og Sydøstasien, mens der er skruet ned for eksempelvis fremstød i Kina. Og når vi ser på brancher og forretningsområder er der eksempelvis 9 fremstød for forsvarsindustrien i 2025, hvor vi ellers typisk har haft to, fortæller Jens Holst-Nielsen. Orana Engages in Banana Field Day in Taveta, Kenya! Today, Orana proudly participated in Banana Field Day in Taveta, Kenya, bringing together over 500 smallholder farmers. This event was organized to empower local farmers, helping them start or advance their journey in organic banana farming. As part of the Danida Market Development Partnership (DMDP), Orana collaborates with MESPT, the Government of Taita Taveta County, and other key partners to drive sustainable agriculture and economic growth in Kenya. Our goal is to create jobs and build a sustainable banana farming sector that strengthens communities. Key Expected Outcomes: - Increase Farmers’ Incomes by 40% by connecting at least 1,500 smallholder farmers to training and market networks. - Generate 550 direct jobs. - Empower Production: Enable smallholder farmers to produce and sell over 30,240 MT of quality bananas annually. Our commitment to sustainable development, local empowerment, and innovation continues to drive us forward. Orana Celebrates Copenhagen Culture Night - Highlighting Water's Vital Role On October 11th, we had the privilege of participating in Copenhagen Culture Night, an event featuring over 200 organizers and 3850 attendees. Hosted by the Danish Confederation of Industry, we engaged in meaningful discussions about the vital role water plays in our operations. Without water, there is no fruit—and without fruit, there’s no Orana. We showcased our products, including our private label offerings, and shared insights about our banana plantation project in Kenya – another project where the access to water is essential. Visitors enjoyed tasting our refreshing shots and sodas, including our private label offerings. Children had fun painting exotic fruits with watercolors, creatively highlighting the importance of water. By raising awareness about this invaluable resource, we aim to raise a deeper understanding of how water impacts our business and the world around us. Thank you to everyone who joined us! The harvest is from Lesuyai Organic Farmers Cooperative society which consists of 34 small holder farmers from Kenya. In partnership with MESPT, we’ve worked together through the Danida Market Development Programme (DMDP) to enhance sustainable banana farming and contribute to the local economy. Our collaborative efforts aim to spur job creation and increase farmers’ incomes by 40%. We extend our gratitude to our partners and the dedicated farmers who made this possible. - New Orana Factory Opens in India! We are incredibly proud to announce the opening of our new factory in Nashik, India, located outside of Mumbai. This facility marks a significant milestone in Orana’s global expansion, strengthening our presence in the fast-growing Indian market. - Celebrating 25 years of success at Orana! This past Friday, June 14th, we marked a significant milestone in our journey – 25 years of delivering top-quality fruit-based solutions to the world. Our anniversary event at the stunning Lundsgaard Gods in Kerteminde was nothing short of spectacular, with 150 colleagues and cooperation partners joining us for a night to remember. We were honored to welcome attendees from across the globe, including Egypt, India, Kenya, Malaysia, UAE and Vietnam. The evening was made even more special with a live performance by the Hjalmer Duo. Interestingly, 40 years ago, Hjalmer's father, Kim Larsen, played at Rynkeby, making this a nostalgic and memorable connection for us. During the event, we proudly showcased our diverse range of services and products from around the world, reflecting our commitment to quality by nature, the sustainable way, and production close to resources, close to customers. Our vision and mission continue to guide us as we look forward to the future of fruit production and how we can further innovate and lead the industry.
