Election is one of the important processes in a democratic society. Voting, which was formerly manual, has been altered by Information Technology, prompting discussions regarding transition of online voting.
This study focused on the development of online voting system which aimed to develop and evaluate the online voting system for Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Mid La Union Campus that leads to an efficient and reliable electoral process. The study sought answers to the following objectives: To develop an online voting system using iterative and incremental model and determine the level of software quality using ISO/IEC 25010:2011. Descriptive and developmental research methodology was used to develop the required artifact of the study and iterative and incremental model as the software development methodology.
The system was successfully developed using iterative and incremental model. Results show that respondents are strongly agree in the system garnering 4 median points from overall rating.
