It seems that we might actually be seeing some more unfortunate events at a theater near you in the future. CineFools recently spoke with director Brad Silberling, on the red carpet for his new film Land of the Lost, where he revealed that a film sequel to Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events may actually happen after all. He says:
"You know it's really funny. There was a period of time, about a year ago, where I would have said "Oh, good luck" because it was mired in so many things. It was a co-production between Paramount and Dreamworks and there were studio politics...but I actually think it's going to see the light of day. ___ and I, he's the writer of... is very friendly with Mr. Snicket I should say, we stay in constant touch about it, because I would love nothing more than to do that and we've been hoping to, so I think there will be a chance it may take a wildly different form...but I think it will probably happen."

Dear Ficreaders and Ficwriters,
I've been working on my Final Project at the university, which happens to be about Fanfiction (as a Reader's Response to Literature), and one of the steps I decided to go through is collecting statements from both Readers and Writers of Fanfiction. :3
