Abstract

Cooperation between Hungarian TU libraries has been established long ago. The services rendered, however, do not include all kinds of library activities, nor compensate each other. In order to stabilize long range cooperations, uncompensated services must be paid on a price, which assures not only reimbursement of all direct costs, but allows some premium to the librarians concerned. The Veszprém University Library supplies information services also to an extended group of various users, not only other Hungarian TU libraries. The service oriented organization, which does not include the conventional documentation and publishing activities is a special feature of the Veszprém University Library in Hungary.
