Abstract
ESTIMATES, made by the ethylenediamine method, of adrenaline and noradrenaline concentrations in rat tissues have already been reported1; they varied seasonally2. Experiments have now been carried out to investigate the occurrence of other catechol compounds. Some material, probably hydroxytyramine, has consistently been found in rat liver and spleen, and particularly in brain ; other brains have been analysed.
