Further Evidence of Lower Pleistocene Hominids from East Rudolf, North Kenya (original) (raw)

Nature volume 231, pages 241–245 (1971)Cite this article

Abstract

The 1970 expedition organized by the National Museum of Kenya to East Rudolf recovered sixteen specimens of hominid which include some postcranial remains. This material adds further support to the view that two distinct hominids—Australopithecus and _Homo_—lived contemporaneously in the Lower Pleistocene in this part of East Africa.
