According to the characteristics of the open-air coal stack and the requirements of inspection, a temperature patrol measurement system using four rotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has been designed, which consists of UAV platform, temperature detection module, lower computer processing module, infinite transmission module and host computer display module. Based on the complex topography and the distribution of measured points of the open-air coal yard, the path planning based on artificial measuring point of the UVA has been proposed. The infrared temperature sensors chip of MLX90614-DCI were adopted, and processed the data through a data fusion algorithm, which can overcome the disadvantages that the infrared temperature sensors chip's single set measurement data has lower reliability. And to improve the reliability of the coal pile surface temperature data, the open-air coal yard temperature patrol measurement system which has been designed in this paper has a great significance to prevent the coal stack's spontaneous combustion.">
