Description

This dataset provides global annual wetland methane (CH4) emissions for 2000-2020 derived from an ensemble simulation of multiple terrestrial biosphere models,as part of the Global Carbon Project's Methane Budget activity. These models simulate the emissions with two climate forcings, CRU (Harris et al., 2014) and GSWP3-W5E5 (Cucchi et al., 2020; Dirmeyer et al., 2006). For more details about this dataset, please refer to Zhang et al. (2024). For the spatio-temporal distribution of wetland estimates from individual models, please contact the respective model groups.
