Description
This dataset is part of the database compiled as an outcome of Work Area 1 in project OrganicYieldsUP. Variable definitions can be found here: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15276082
The dataset comprises plot-level data from a long-term experiment starting from 2011, set up within the framework of a CoreOrganic Project (TILMAN-Org), and managed by the Agroecology research group from the University of Barcelona, in collaboration with the Consortium of Gallecs. This is a field trial on the effects of tillage, fertilization and green manures in an organic rotation, with one temporal replicate and four spatial replicates in a split-split-plot design, on a clay loam with c. 1% soil organic matter, under a Mediterranean climate with Mean annual temperature 16°C and mean annual precipitation 599 mm. It is one of the first of its kind in Mediterranean climate. It includes detailed information on farm operations, annual yields and weed abundance, and soil analyses every five years.
