brief bio: Michael was born in China (Shanghai) to a poor mother and an older sister. His father had left him, his mother and father when he was just a baby. The name his mother bestowed upon him was Shing Li (Victory and Strength) He grew up being a rebel, he wore the slightest make up but was a punk throughout most of his high school years. Causing trouble with whom ever by doing whatever (very much the opposite of his sister Alexis) He started frequently hanging out in deserted "mansions" all over to pass the time. During one of his many travels to a "mansion" he had grown fond of he came across a pale man wearing a button down shirt, a tie and suit pants. Michael moved over to the man yelling at him for trespassing. The man, Adrien, turned out to be not a normal man at all. He was a vampire, just a few years older than Michael. Through out the next few weeks since meeting him Adrien became obsessed with Michael, following hi all over in the shadows. He loved the energy Michael put out, so carefree, running his own show, following his own rules. Adrien knew he had to make Michael his.
Upon one of Michael's visits to the "mansion" where Adrien now stayed, he sat on the floor smoking a cigarette. Adrien watched him intently deciding that he had to make a move or risk losing Michael. He moved over to him, caressing his face, kissing him and whispering into Michael's ear, the wonders of being a vampire and about wanting to make Michael his. Michael, much in his way, said "sure, I have nothing better to do." and thus led to his life as a vampire Adrien now bestowing the name Michael to him.
But soon Adrien lost interest in the boy (who was only 19 at the time) and turned his attentions to Michael's sister Alexis. He saw jealousy in Michael, who would kill without thinking, feeding in the day time, not caring who saw him. Michael took his new status as a vampire to the extreme. He became evil, jealous, malicious and uncaring. Michael changed his name to Cain after hearing the story of "Cain and Abel" Because like Cain, Michael would kill anyone to prove to Adrien he was worthy of the man's attentions. Adrien wanted no part of him or his behavior and cast him off, eventually killing him. Unbeknown to Adrien, Michael sawt revenge and possessed Alexis' body, seeing that Adrien had taken her as his new companion.
He would stay hidden inside his sister for years, watching Adrien and plotting his revenge silently. When Adrien found a new home in America with his half brother and sister, Michael took over his sister's shell, much to Adrien's dismay. But Michael's jealousy is just as strong, seeing that Adrien had taken Shuya (a mortal) to be his new "companion" and Julian as a possible demon companion and had replaced him Michael has sawt out to destroy every ounce of happiness Adrien has set for himself, no matter what he has to do.
Secretly he wanted Adrien back, wanting to claim the other for his companion. He will stop at nothing to get what he believes is his even if it means blood shed.
