Show in Detroit, MI last night	[13 Aug 2006\|01:23pm]
[ mood \| hyper ] Well, I was lucky enough to see Dope live again. Just as amazing as the first time, if not more so. The crowd rocked and Edsel is just fucking awesome live. The great thing about the place I was at is that there are no seats, just an audience floor, so you can get as close to the stage as you want! And yes, I was as close as possible. =DSo, anyway, the songs played:- "Fuck Tha Police"- "Survive"- "Debonaire"- "Bastard"- "I'm Back"- "Sick"- "Everything Sucks"- "Spin Me Round"- "Now or Never"- "Motivation"- "Bring It On"- "Die Motherfucker Die"Oh, and I got to meet Edsel after the show! My friend and I hung out at the back of the building for about an hour until he came out. Very cool guy. I got a picture, an autograph, and a hug! The hug was awesome. I even said to him, "Oh my God, you feel so good!" lol ^_^( my precious signed dollar bill Collapse )It's all I had on me. I considered asking him to sign my tits, but I decided that, although I'd REALLY like him to touch my goodies, I'd like to have something that would last...

For Dope fans residing in Michigan:Although, for the time being, neither Dope's myspace or official web page say that they have a show on August 12th, the web site for Harpo's says that Dope will be playing there AGAIN on August 12th.It was great the last time, so I'm sure it'll be great again. ^_^

All right guys, here is the official word on Ben Graves joining Dope for the Japanese dates:Murderdolls drummer Ben Graves joins Dope for upcoming Japanese tour. Dope is heading back to Japan in support of their new album American Apathy. The bands Japanese tour kicks off on Halloween night in Tokyo Japan. Ben Graves will be behind the drum kit for Dope, which has been a revolving door for skinny, dreadlocked musicians throughout the years. Graves is best known for being the guy that (Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison) turned to when choosing a drummer for his Shock Rock Horror project (The MurderDolls). Graves became a seasoned pro while touring the world with the Murderdolls and has since been laying low in Los Angeles while Jordison handles his many responsibilities with Slipknot. When asked about Ben's joining up with Dope this fall, Dope's front man (Edsel Dope) had this to say. "Everything is going killer!! It's loud and dirty and everything that people expect from Dope!!! This situation is nothing new for any of us and so far it’s been pretty effortless. We are all crazy excited to get back to Japan and party our asses off, not to mention that we can't wait to kick some Japanese ass on Halloween. Dope's guitarist (Virus) added, "Our new record was just released in Japan and these shows are going to be amazing!!! I'm sure everyone will be super happy with Ben’s contribution to Dope and his ability to easily slide into our system." Dope's current touring line-up consists of "Edsel Dope" on vox and gtrs "Virus" on lead guitars, "Brix Milner" on bass and "Ben Graves" on drums. Dope will be returning to the United States in Nov. Im looking forward to seeing Dope w/ Mushroomhead at the alrosa soon plus i got a military i.d. cuz my dads in the guard they hooked me up... Wait somethings wrong the fucking show is 18 up and i dont turn 18 til 3 months after the show WTF??? Maybe someone can help me figure a way to get in and NOT with my parents cuz they only go when my band is playing a show there??? Anyone in the same situation??? Anyway im glad to be a member American Apathy fucking rocks!

Im looking forward to seeing Dope w/ Mushroomhead at the alrosa soon plus i got a military i.d. cuz my dads in the guard they hooked me up... Wait somethings wrong the fucking show is 18 up and i dont turn 18 til 3 months after the show WTF??? Maybe someone can help me figure a way to get in and NOT with my parents cuz they only go when my band is playing a show there??? Anyone in the same situation??? Anyway im glad to be a member American Apathy fucking rocks!
