Note on the Least Squares Solution for the Method of Successive Categories | Psychometrika | Cambridge Core (original) (raw)

Abstract

The problem of estimation in the method of successive categories is reconsidered and a new least squares solution is obtained. An empirical comparison of this solution with Gulliksen's solution is presented.
