At the time of the quality improvement project described in this article, Cheryl Ann Cmiel, Dana Marie Karr, Dawn Marie Gasser, Loretta Marie Oliphant, and Amy Jo Neveau were staff nurses and members of the sleep promotion team on the surgical thoracic intermediate care area nursing unit at Saint Marys Hospital, a Mayo Clinic–affiliated hospital in Rochester, MN.
