In this regard, teaching units on everyday topics have proven highly successful. Concerning chemical issues, hands-on lessons about food and sweets are an approach worth trying. Hence, a unit on sherbet powder was developed within Bielefeld University’s project “Kolumbus-Kids”. The project’s students loved it, especially due to the fun of producing their own “fizzy powder”.
As we enjoyed watching the children become ever more excited and engaged during the unit, we want to provide you with the necessary background information so that you can benefit from our experiences as well and present the pupils with a good introduction into chemistry on a primary school level.

Our discussion begins with the narration of the myth of Lykaon, taken from the Description of Greece by Pausania, Greek writer and geographer, who lived in the second century B.C.. We have extended our thoughts focusing on sources and ancient authors who have dealt directly and indirectly with the characteristics of the wolf, seizing common and recurring features. This work has enabled us to build a clear picture of the representation of the wolf, elaborated by the Greek people and by pastoral peoples in general. Our curiosity, also resulted from the mystery and charm of the theme, has allowed us to develop some reflections on lycanthropy in ancient and medieval times. We considered how the mythical legend of Lykaon, built by Greek consciousness, so far away from us, has continued through the ages to exercise such a fascination that the popularity of the phenomenon of werewolves in movies and in literature is still present. In fact, the wolf is the character that arouses fear par excellence, so much that it is considered a sort of bogeyman in this fairy-tale literature, which depicts him as a negative presence to avoid and possibly kill.

Not secondary on the way was found the “accompanying” by focused paths and the need of improved information and teaching, not only for experts in this field, formation about this pathology.

This kind of circumstances trigger strong psychological and social effects and for this reason Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research draws up documents against the rejection of different traditions and against the racist thinking, promoting instead the dialogue with other cultures (e.g.: C.M. 26 July 1990, n. 205; C.M. 2 March 1994, n. 73) and pronouncing on specifically against islamophobia (The Italian way for Intercultural Education and the Integration of Foreign Students, 23 October 2007). The article is inserted in this frame of best practices related to studies and projects for school, that encourage employment of Islamic Art, with educational purposes, for students' cultural widening and for educational interdisciplinary usage. This article aims to offer a little insight into the culture and into the facets of Islamic Art, useful for recombining of knowledge, some of it probably taken for granted. Therefore, the final goal of the article is addressed to overcoming prejudices and stereotypes.

This causes the useful tools at other times for locating books no longer eligible and users have to search their subsequent reads otherwise. Internet has become a source of discovery of new readings due to the different places where users can find new readings based on the opinions of other users through blogs, social networks, and new tools that combine the information provided by the content of the books themselves, the profile information of users and in some cases the metadata contained in the books, thus favouring the discoverability or the ability of books to be found.

This implies a change in its initial and ongoing training, allowing their training and professional improvement and that the University should be directly involved through the explicit presence of competences and digital content in undergraduate and graduate curricular designs.
But not all the content available allow us to acquire these skills in digital reading, therefore, is necessary to evaluate and critically select resources to articulate systems for collecting information and valuation that allow the mediators, have objective criteria to choose those products that are best suited to the attainment of these competences
To do this, based on the indicators traditionally used to children's literature, and the direct analysis of different applications of reading, proposed a series of evaluation parameters, articulated around ten items: devices, operating system, content, reading stages, price and options of purchase, access to the store, organization of collection, interaction and organization of the collection, interaction out and honors.

Due to the success of free collaborative encyclopedias such as Wikipedia, institutions started to develop similar projects, in order to give visibility and prestige to their contents online. Because of its peculiarities and characteristics, the future of reference work lies in the digital media, the best environment for its publication. An example of this would be the DINLE, an online dictionary set up by the University of Salamanca in collaboration with the E-Lectra Research Group. This dictionary contains terms on reading and writing which had appeared due to their symbiosis with the digital media. It is a peculiar project because of its unusual topic, and for being an online adaptation of a paper version. Furthermore, it is the most suitable case of study in order to analyze the advantages of digital publishing, and to reflect on digital reference works in general.

The laboratory along with the training seem destined to revolutionize the teaching from the perspective of a training system that makes continuous synthesis between the two moments of teaching, the abstract theory and concrete practice. Apprenticeship can be considered as the practice phase, where the subject is free to intervene and positively impact the real world. This is the result emerged from a study carried out at the University of Perugia on the future teachers, who need to enrich their literacy with training. A curriculum where theory and practice merge is not the only method to get a suitable professionalism, but can contribute in realizing the “ten competencies necessary to teach” on the Perrenoud’s opinion.

We will look at three of those characters that mostly identify such class: the unique connection with technology, socio-political pragmatism and tendency to presentism. Characters that can be associated with unprecedented and uncertain visions of the future, work and family and, therefore, the very concept of social maturity.

Today this expression meant, not only the elements capable of responding to the needs of people with a disability, because, in reality, each of us have the needs. These needs relate to the person with all his "personal background of life and existence", that represent a lifestyle, habits, adaptability, styles, character styles, attributive, and so on.
These educational needs, in addition to those mentioned above, should receive special responses by education professionals, implementing interventions "custom-made" of their difficult situation and factors that originate and / or maintain.
