The Trans-Pacific Partnership is an agreement of the Pacific Rim countries and represents an impo... more The Trans-Pacific Partnership is an agreement of the Pacific Rim countries and represents an important milestone in international trade as it aims to expand trade and enhance mutual cooperation among Pacific countries. With the motto of reducing trade barriers and increasing market access, the agreement introduced certain standards for labour and environmental practices, as well as a series of regulations for the protection of intellectual property. The negotiation of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) by 11 members, despite the withdrawal of the United States from the treaty during the Trump era due to various security concerns, is also considered a significant event in international trade. Seeking to explain the transformative potential of the key features of the TPP, this paper addresses specific challenges in the ongoing pursuit of cooperation among signatory countries.

As part of the Tallinn University Summer School's "The Formation of Global Norms in a Changing Wo... more As part of the Tallinn University Summer School's "The Formation of Global Norms in a Changing World Order" program, I analyzed Erna Burai's article "Parody as Norm Contestation: Russia's Normative Justifications in Georgia and Ukraine and Their Impact on Global Norms". By focusing on Russia's attempts to change the established norms in the international community through Ukraine and Georgia, Burai also reveals the conflict between the international community and Russia.

Romaniuk and Francis Grice. After explaining the concept of norms, Romaniuk and Grice examine the approaches of IR theories familiar to IR students to the issue of norms and norm challenges.

Bu araştırma yazısı entegrasyon kavramını Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’ne çeşitli sebeplerden dolayı göç eden Arnavutlar üzerinden açıklamayı hedeflemektedir. Arnavut Sosyalist Halk Cumhuriyeti’nden kilometrelerce uzaklara göç eden Arnavutların, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nde nasıl kültürlerini koruduklarını,lobicilik faaliyetlerini sürdürdüklerini , farklı iş kollarında nasıl aktif düzeyde çalıştıklarını ve jenerasyonlar arasındaki eğitim durumlarını göstermektedir. Amerikan Arnavut kavramının oluşturulmasında katkısı olan Vatra Pan – Arnavut Federasyonu üzerinden entegrasyon kavramının önemi belirtilmiş, Vatra Pan – Arnavut Federasyonu’nun Boston’da bulunmasının Arnavutların göç merkezlerini etkilediğine değinilmiştir.Türkiye Cumhuriyeti üzerinde yer alan kültür merkezlerine örnek olması amaçlanan bu çalışma literatürde daha önce yer almış olan Amerikan – Arnavut toplumu üzerine yapılmış çalışmaları kapsamaktadır.

Abstract

This research paper aims to explain the concept of integration through Albanians who immigrated to the United States for various reasons. It shows how Albanians who emigrated miles away from the Albanian Socialist People's Republic preserved their culture in the United States, continued lobbying, actively worked in different lines of business, and their educational status among generations. The importance of the concept of integration through the Pan – Albanian Federation of Vatra, which contributed to the creation of the American Albanian concept, was referenced. The refer of the Vatra Pan – Albanian Federation in Boston has been cited as affecting the migration centres of Albanians. This study, which is intended to be an example of cultural centres in the Republic of Turkey, covers studies on the American - Albanian society that were previously included in the literature.

Abstract

This research paper aims to explain the concept of integration through Albanians who immigrated to the United States for various reasons.
