日本三大都市の一つ大阪。”天下の台所”で知られる大阪は江戸時代商業の中心地であり商人の町。富田林市の寺内町には江戸時代の商家の街並みが残る。

他にもくいだおれのまちでもありお笑いのまちでもある大阪。

道頓堀はグリコサインやカニ道楽で知られる繁華街。大阪名物たこ焼き、お好み焼き、串カツのグルメのほか、くいだおれ太郎もいる。また、もう一つの大阪のシンボル、ビリケンは通天閣５階に鎮座するほか、いろいろなところで見かける。

大阪の中心に位置する大阪城。堺市には２０１９年世界遺産に登録された「百舌鳥・古市古墳群」仁徳天皇陵古墳は墳丘長４８６m、周囲２・８kmの前方後円墳で世界三大墳墓の一つ。

大阪ベイエリアには、ユニバーサルスタジオジャパン、海遊館、天保山大観覧車などがある。
