Here's some news on your favourite obsessions, y'all.

*Emma Thompson is currently filming two major movies. One is called Nanny McPhee and is about her being a nanny with magical powers. The other is called "Stranger Than Fiction" and stars Emmie, Will Ferrell and Queen Latifah, among others. Um, yeah, interesting cast...

*Alan Rickman is filming a movie set in Wawa, Ontario (yay canada!) with Sigourney Weaver. It is about a woman with autism. I'm thinking Alan's not the woman.

*Joaquin Phoenix is currently filming a movie called Walk the Line in which he plays Johnny Cash. It's set to be released this June and also stars Reese Witherspoon.

*Viggo Mortensen is currently filming two movies. One is called Alatriste about the 17th century Spanish soldier/mercenary Captain Alatriste. He has the title role. He's also in a new movie called A History of Violence, where he also has the main role as a father who commits a seemingly harmless self-defense crime and thrusts his average family into the spotlight.

*Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire supposedly comes out November 18. That's really far away.

*The Love Actually soundtrack completely rocks!

*Johnny Depp has so much going on right now! His next films include: The Rum Diary which is about alcoholism and lust in Puerto Rico (also stars Benicio del Toro, Josh Hartnett, and Nick Nolte, to name a few) in the 1950's. Shantaram, a movie based on the life of Gregory David Roberts, a heroin-addict who escapes prison and moves to Bombay to become a doctor (Johnny has the main role, and it also stars Helena Bonham Carter). The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, which he plays the editor of Elle France, Jean-Dominique Bauby, a man who suffered a stroke at the age of 43 and lost control of his body, eventually writing his memoirs. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (of course) and Pirates of the Caribbean 2 (of course). Corpse Bride, which sounds hilarious, in which he plays Victor, who is all set to marry his fiancee when he sees a bony finger sticking out of the ground and, mistaking it for a stick, puts the ring on it and says his wedding vows. Only problem is the finger belongs to a zombie (played by Helena Bonham Carter) and she comes up and says he must marry her. Uh. Yeah

That's it guys!
