Eid Prayers held at Al-Kish Square in Benghazi (original) (raw)

A number of residents of Benghazi performed Eid al-Adha prayers in Al-Kish Square, where an atmosphere of joy prevailed, punctuated by fireworks.

The Benghazi Security Directorate deployed its personnel to secure the square and facilitate and organize the movement of worshippers, according to a statement posted on the Directorate’s Facebook page.

A number of officials also attended the prayers, including the Director General of the Development and Reconstruction Fund, Belqasim Haftar, and the Director of Security in Benghazi, Major General Salah Huaidi.
