The Beauregard Plateau is a sandstone plateau with gentle relief dominated by forests, wet meadows and peat bogs.

The mosaic of habitats present on this site, maintained thanks to adapted human practices, hosts a wide variety of very specific species.
over a reduced area. Due to its accessibility and the quality of its landscapes, the Natura 2000 site of the Beauregard Plateau is also, in all seasons, a major site for the practice of outdoor activities.
