Bryansk is a city on the Desna River in Bryansk Oblast.

From Moscow from the Kievskiy railway station on the direct branded train "Ivan Paristy" or on trains in transit through Bryansk to Novozybkov, Klimov or in Belarus. Travel time is from 4 to 8 hours.

• Gagarina Boulevard is a pedestrian street in the historic center of the city. It goes from Slavyanskaya (former Cathedral) Square towards the modern city center (Lenin Square, Dynamo Stadium, Tolstoy Park), going up along its entire length.

Vvedenskaya church

The only surviving monument to the Peter and Paul Monastery, founded, according to legend, back in the second half of the 13th century by the Bryansk prince Oleg Romanovich, who was buried here around 1289 (the grave was not preserved). Built in 1702-1705, it was made in the traditions of Moscow architecture of the 17th century. In 1930 it was partially dismantled and restored in the late 1980s.

Monument to the fallen in the Great Patriotic War, which has become one of the symbols of the city of Bryansk. In its appearance (stele plus sculptural groups) and location (in the alignment of one of the main city streets) it is very similar to the monument on Victory Square in St. Petersburg , but it was built 10 years earlier, so there is no question of plagiarism.
