  1. a letter of Kashmiri indicating palatalization.

The letter ؠ is called IPA(key): /ɡoːl jaːjuk/ when it is used in the middle of a word and produces the sound IPA(key): /ʲa/. If the letter is used at the end of a word, it is called IPA(key): /taːlɨrʲ/ and it produces the sound IPA(key): /ʲ/. The shape of the letter at the end of a word changes by making it more curved.
