From an unattested stem of unknown origin + -r (obsolete frequentative suffix). For the suffix, compare the verb csavar (“to twist, turn”).[1]

- (transitive) alternative form of kever (“to stir, to mix”)
- (transitive) to create, cause, stir up (scandal, outrage, storm etc.)
- (transitive, slang) to meddle in or manipulate personal relationships
- (transitive, slang) to be dating or in a romantic/sexual relationship with someone
