(= to drink) इनत इनत धात ु ् । तस्भात ् षलध्मगथल षलळे ऴणभ ् -ऩे म‖ (= drinkable) । तथा नऩु िं वकलरङ्गग नाभ -ऩे म‖ (= a drink) । तस्म प्रथभा षलबकक्त् एकलचनभ ् च । ४ टिप्ऩणयः । ४.१ By putting the verse in four lines it would read as follows -बोजनान्ते च ककिं ऩे मभ ् । लणाल ् ८ जमन्त् कस्म लै व ु त् । लणाल ् ८ कथिं षलष्ण ु ऩदिं प्रोक्तभ ् । लणाल ् ८ तक्र िं ळक्रस्म द ु रल बभ ् । लणाल ् ८ अत्र अन ु ष्ट ु ब ् छन्द् । There are two words used to make up the syllabic counts -च in the first line and लै in the second line. These words do not add any specific meaning. Or the translation can be done without placing translations of these words. Such word is called as भात्राऩू यकलणल ् । ४.२ In first three lines there are three questions. Their single-word answers make the fourth line. Yet the fourth line also reads as a stand-alone statement. ४.३ The question in the first line बोजनान्ते च ककिं ऩे मभ ् ? and its answer तक्रभ ् are worth some deliberation. Buttermilk has all the right qualities to promote good digestion of what is eaten during the meal. I keep wondering what brought the change that people have sweets as dessert after a meal. Sweets as dessert are of course very harmful. A glass of Buttermilk and only that, should rightly be the universal norm. ४.४ The statement in the fourth line तक्र िं ळक्रस्म दु रल बभ ् is sort of a reiteration of the answer तक्रभ ् to the question in the first line बोजनान्ते च ककिं ऩे मभ ् ? In heaven, the abode of Indra, nectar अभ ृ तभ ् is the usual drink. So, buttermilk not being commonly available in the heaven, it is -hard to get‖ drink for Indra. That is the premise, which the poet has used to suggest -buttermilk at the end of meal is what nectar is in heaven !‖ People who have not practised drinking buttermilk at the end of a meal are welcome to explore the pleasure and satisfaction of a good meal, which one would feel by a glass of buttermilk. And because it promotes good digestion, it is very healthy too ! ४.५ Indian cuisine has a long tradition of exploring newer recipes. Starting with milk दु ग्धभ ् we have cream of milk दु ग्धतारीमभ ् milk -broken‖ by adding something sour or acidic when boiling milk ऩनीयभ ् (?) curds दगध buttermilk तक्रभ ् butter नलनीतभ ् ghee घ ृ तभ ् । In the western world they made buttermilk and butter, but not the घ ृ तभ ् ghee. In order to practice this material, the best situation would be that one has received the empowerment of Vajrayooini in the Naro Kacho tradition tooether with the commentary and oral transmission. At the very least, one must have received the empowerment ojVajrayooini in the Naro Kacho tradition.
