Because in the eighteenth and nineteenth century, the German Philosophy especially the German idealism of the Hegelian version suffered major setbacks because of the rise of German materialism and Kantian metaphysics.

On the contrary, the Hegelian idealistic thought was sidelined by the philosophers of that day because across the German University campuses, Neo-Kantians and German materialists were in dominant position. However, the protest began with writings of Frederich Nietzsche, Edmund Husserl and other contemporaries, who challenged the intellectual hegemony of the Neo-Kantians across the philosophy departments of the German Universities. Basically, it was the reductive philological approach of Frederich Nietzsche and deductive approach of Edmund Husserl that paved the way for new possibilities in the German idealist philosophy.

Although, the discourse of the twenty-first century warfare has attempted to define the new dynamics of politics and warfare in hybrid context that establishes a close relationship between social sciences and natural sciences. For instance, the ontological discourse of the Hybrid warfare is characterized by the kinetic, non-Kinetic, biological, psychological and physical weaponry for producing a new kind of destruction and chaos.

As an illustration, in the recent years, the characteristics of the modern counter-insurgency adds to the increasing prominent role of the life sciences in determining the politics of international security and peace. However, with the sudden eruption and rapture of the coronavirus pandemic expresses a new kind of natural destruction. Some people call it a man-made conspiracy to optimize the global population ratio, some call it as God’s curse and some call it as the beginning of World War-Z type apocalypse.

In the last two decades, the Arctic region has undergone significant changes due to anthropogenic climate change. The rising global temperatures and the rapid ice-melting in the region are opening up new opportunities for the great powers including Russia and NATO members for maritime trade and economic opportunities. Unlike the NATO neighbours, the Russian involvement in the Arctic region both in terms of military and economic investment is unprecedented. By employing a theoretical framework based on the Realist School of International Relations, specifically the theory of geopolitics, this study analyzes the various dimensions of Russia's involvement in the Arctic. The research examines Russia's two major strategic objectives: balancing geopolitical competition with aspirations for cooperation and assessing its implications for economic, geopolitical, and security landscapes. By carrying out a comprehensive investigation of Russia's diplomatic initiatives, strategic manoeuvres and military presence, the study aims to explore the motivations behind its expansion to the Arctic region. Finally, the research investigates the consequences of the Russian rapid expansion towards the Arctic region for geopolitical affairs and regional stability by emphasizing the sustainable security architecture to prevent a geopolitical turf between Russia and its NATO neighbours.

This paper investigates the relationship between external debt, population growth, and inflation ... more This paper investigates the relationship between external debt, population growth, and inflation with unemployment in 26 developing countries. The study uses data from 2010 to 2021 and panel data models (fixed, random, and pooled) to analyze the relationship between the variables. Results show that external debt has a significant and positive impact on unemployment across all three models. Similarly, GDP growth has a reducing and significant impact on the unemployment rate, which shows high employment elasticity of growth in the case of these 26 developing countries. Another important finding of the study is that foreign direct investment, inflation, and population growth have a non-significant impact on unemployment. The paper suggests robust macroeconomic policies and effective debt management in these developing countries to address the issue of unemployment.

Research paper thumbnail of Russia's Eurasian Dream: A Way Forward Towards Multipolar World Order

Journal of Global Faultlines , May 22, 2022

Since the disintegration of USSR Eurasia has gained a new geopolitical and strategic significance... more Since the disintegration of USSR Eurasia has gained a new geopolitical and strategic significance. Fifteen Countries emerged as result of disintegration, among which only Russian Federation was the successor state. The post-soviet era especially the era of 1990s was a political and economic trauma for the Russian federation and the post-soviet space. But Eurasianists were well aware about the American unilateralism and American ‘Grand Chessboard strategy” that was solely aimed at encircling Russian geography. With these concerns, the Eurasianists advised the Russian political and military elites to initiate the Eurasian Union Project. This paper briefly sketches Russian historical Eurasian dream, which deeply rooted in Russian imperial history and discusses about the importance of Eurasian philosophy for the political and economic stability of Russia-Eurasia. The paper also illustrates about the challenges and opportunities for the Eurasian integration and for the establishment of multipolar world order. Moreover, the paper also briefly outlines the geopolitical rationale behind the Eurasian project as key objective of the contemporary Russian foreign policy and geopolitics.

It has been the crossroads of civilisations, contributing to the cultural and ethnic hybridity of the region. However, after the fall of the Ottoman Empire and later the Soviet Union in the twentieth century, Eurasia lost its geostrategic importance in the US led liberal world order. In the 1920s, a group of Russian émigrés described the cultural and ethnic ties among the communities living across the vast Eurasian steppes as Eurasianism. Eurasianists divide the world into two opposing forces with Eurasianism including Russia and the European states favouring integration with it and Atlanticism including the US and European countries supporting an American led Atlantic order. Today, Russia is an important revisionist power in Eurasia, with huge stakes in the global order and the capability to help forge new relationships in the region.

Hence, Philosopher John Locke contributed at a larger scale in the development of the political philosophy especially his interpretation of the social contract and legal perspective opened the new chapters for discussion and debate. Today, the writings of John Locke are relevant in the contemporary discussion of political philosophy. For instance, the grounds of political obligation, democracy, limits of power of government, and the circumstances in which revolution is morally acceptable.
On the other hand, his second treatise is significant to understand the contemporary political theory and political philosophy. It is morally justifiable for the people to embrace upon all armed rebellion against those, who claimed to be their government. Locke’s second treatise on government was published after the glorious revolution of 1689 — when king James-II was overthrown by King William and Queen Marry. He was the secretary to Earl of the Shaftsbury and brought a bill to the parliament to prevent Charles-II to succeed the throne but in response Charles-II dissolved the parliament that later led to an outright rebellion against King Charles-II.

Moreover, this narrative skyrocketed after the incident of 9/11 that brought the Muslims to the crossroads of fear and delusion.
In the recent years, most contemporary commentators used islamophobia as a counter narrative to curb the wrong vicious dynamics of islamophobia. It is based on the opinion that Muslims are threatening figures, who want to dominate the west, the geopolitical space, to which they do not belong.

3. Possible ground of proof for a demonstration of God’s existence.
Basically, Immanuel Kant traced the essence of religion through the patterns of history. Moreover, Kant himself was from the Pietist background, which was a purist movement within Christianity that originated in the eighteenth century Germany. Likewise, in the Kantian conception, religion and morality amounts to a rationally purified version of pietism—in which rationality comes to the reflection. In contrast, the rationalist often takes the stance of reflexitive domain. What Immanuel Kant wrote to J.C Lavataer in 1775?
“You ask for my opinion of your discussion of faith and prayers—do you realize whom you are asking? A man who believes that in the final moment only the purest condor concerning our most hidden conviction can stand the test and who, like job, takes it to be a sin to flatter God, and make inner confessions. Based on the Shiite patterns of the Islamic State, the Sunni Islamists attempted to erect the emirate in Sudan and Afghanistan that led to the vibrant content of debate among the scholars and intellectuals about the ‘failure of political Islam’ in the 21st century. Basically, it was the end of cold war that led to the progression of the Islamist style of doing politics as an opposition to western democracy across the Muslim world. It was the resurgence of political that gave birth to the word ‘Islamic Exceptionalism’ that later came into direct confrontation with American Exceptionalism.
