Got back from the US on Sunday morning but have now developed a nasty cough and soar throat. Even after 2 good nights sleep thanks to Night Nurse I am still feeling crap. Hope I improve for tomorrow as we are off to Paris for the weekend and have lunch booked at a rather nice restaurant on Friday. http://www.pierre-gagnaire.com/index-fr.htm report . Will back if I can taste anything. On the work front things are getting exciting again. Just won new projects in Nigeria and Albania - all he nice places for me - so I should be off to Lagos on Monday for a week. The only positive side is that BA are still doing the free 1st upgrade in one direction.

Heading to Paris the last weekend of April for a few days which I am looking forward to. After that it is work work work trips for a while. More news later.

Just back from a great 4 dasy in St Anton with the snow board. Conditions just amazing for the time of year. We had over 50cm of snow on Tuesday night and then it snowed all day Wednesday following on from most of Monday and Tuesday. luckily I can sort of do powder. Wish I had been there for longer, even though the aging body clearly was happy with just the 4 days. Pictures to follow.

I am in Mexico City for a conference. Ariived last night after an 11 hour flight from UK and with the 6 hour time difference I did not sleep too well last night. Had an explore for a couple of hours this morning and managed not to get mugged which is certainly positive. from what I have seen of it so far it is an amazing city. Huge of course and I have only seen a very small part of it so far. Will post pictures later. Just hope we can get the air conditioning in my room to perform a little better and I will be very happy.

Well I am still here. Been quite busy and played the organ in Bath Abbey at the weekend which was great fun. It is a really noisy organ and even though I got just 30 minutes to practice on it on Saturday morning the servies on Sunday went quite well. After the Sunday morning service I was on a real high and had to just wander off for a quiet coffee and sandwich to bring myself back down to earth. Evensong was similar, even though the organ actually broke for me during the prayers when the light over the padel board started to flicker and then went out. At the same time when I then pulled some stops out notes began to play. All very interesting during the prayers so pushed them back in quickly and turned the organ off as the usual cure all solution. Wen I turned it back on again for te last hymn the action problem was cured but no pedal light. the final piece was therefore quite exciting as it the Flor Peeters Concert Piece which involves lots a jumping around the pedal board.
Played squash for the first time in a while so I ache all over this morning. Am off to a local restaurant tonight which has recently been awarded a Michelin Star http://www.casamiarestaurant.co.uk/home.htm. Have been there a few times in the past and it has been very good so hopefully even better now. Wonder what condition I will be in for my next squash game next Monday.
Travel is starting to get going now too. Am off to mexico City a week on Friday for a conference. First new country for a while and then got a long weekend snow boarding in St Anton. Albania is also on the agenda soon which should be interesting.
Will post some fun pics of snow soon. We also have 1 or 2 foxes now living locally which I see from time to time. There are posters for two lost cats up though on lamp posts. I am wondering if there is any connection.
