The Nearby One is an orchestration platform that goes beyond market standards to manage all tiers of the network, from Cloud and Data Centre to Edge, from a single pane of glass. Using a cross-domain approach that is fully agnostic, it is able to manage hybrid networks at scale through domain-specific orchestration and comprehensive end-to-end orchestration. The solution covers all critical elements of deployment automation-from the initial edge node provisioning to application on-boarding, to lifecycle management and QoS Assurance to SLA monitoring. The company was founded in 2018 and operates globally from its headquarters in Barcelona, Spain.

🌍 Shaping the Future of Connectivity with the ETHER Project At Nearby Computing, we’re proud to play a key role in the ETHER project (sElf-evolving terrestrial/non-Terrestrial Hybrid nEtwoRk), an ambitious initiative pushing the boundaries of connectivity across terrestrial, aerial, and space domains. 📅 In November, we had the ETHER General Assembly at the i2CAT premises (Barcelona, Spain). Over two days, 13 project partners came together to assess progress, collaborate on solutions, and define the roadmap for the months ahead. 📶🛰️ What is ETHER about? ETHER focuses on: Developing a unified, self-evolving Radio Access Network (RAN) for integrated terrestrial and non-terrestrial hybrid networks.
