From Water Cooler Chats launched during the COVID-19 pandemic to the Life Discovery – Doing Science Biology Education Conference, ESA provides opportunities for members to exchange ideas, teaching strategies, and resources. Annual initiatives such as the Resources for Ecology Education – Fair and Share (REEFS) workshop at the ESA Annual Meeting highlight innovative approaches to ecology education and community building.
The ESA Committee on Education guides the Society’s efforts in advancing ecology education. The ESA Education Listserv provides a venue for subscribers to discuss emerging issues in ecology, environmental science, and science education. The ESA Education Section includes around 400 ecologists, educators, managers, and administrators engaged in teacher preparation, community outreach, and scholarly research in ecology education.
We understand and would like to make things a little easier for you.
