It's time to vote for the Montgomery Advertiser's high school girls soccer Player of The Year for the 2026 season, presented by The Vance Law Firm.
Voting will open Sunday, June 7, and will be open until noon Thursday, June 11. The winner will be announced on Friday, June 12. The nominees are based off their performances during the 2026 season, and the contributions they made to their team during the regular and postseason.
Montgomery Advertiser's high school girls soccer Player of the Year presented by Vance Law Firm for the 2026 season
- Pike Road's JK Longnecker paved the way for the Patriots to make it to the third round of the postseason in Class 6A. Her efforts earned her a spot on the All-State Super Team, and a spot in Class 6A's all-state first team. The Jacksonville State commit scored 41 goals and accounted for 15 assists in 2026.
- Saint James' Natalie Barton was an assist machine in 2026, leading the team with 19 on the season. When needed, Barton also proved she could score as well, netting 19 goals on the season. Barton was named to the all-state Class 4A first team.
- Brewbaker Tech's Jade Nguyen was the leader for the Rams in the 2026 season. The senior led the team in goals with 36 on the year and was named to Class 5A's all-state first team.
- Montgomery Catholic's Kyleigh Harris allowed 15 goals during the 2026 season. Harris posted eight shutouts, while recording 73 saves. For her efforts, she was named to the 4A's all-state second team.
- Marbury's Amylia Rigdon was right in the middle of everything for the Bulldogs during the 2026 season. She accounted for 36 goals, 12 assists, 32 steals and 24 tackles. Her efforts earned her a spot on the Class 5A all-state second team, and helped Marbury make a postseason appearance.
