Jordyn Woods is running a new play.
That's because Madison Square Garden is implementing "TSA-like security" for Game 3 of the NBA Finals, including "a strict no-bag policy," because President Donald Trump will be in attendance.
Due to the security measures, Woods won't be able to don what she's called her "lucky" purse from her fashion brand for tonight's game between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs.
While Woods has used the bag for the last few games, she'll likely be rocking a thong-heeled sandal that's the same color as the clutch.
"We turned Jordyn's "lucky bag" into one of our best-sellers," a description of the so-called Stunt Sandal reads. The 28-year-old model founded her brand Woods by Jordyn in January 2023.
Dubbed a good luck charm, the Tux Clutch Mini has become a non-negotiable in Woods' routine, as her fiancé Knicks player Karl-Anthony Towns and the team are on a historic 13-game winning streak.
"I created a sample of the Tux Clutch Mini specifically for the playoffs. I wore it for Game 1 during one of my TikTok GRWMs, and ever since then we’ve kept winning, so now it’s officially become the lucky bag," Woods told Vogue in a May 26 interview.
"Get ready with me," or GRWM, are vlog-style videos that typically involve content creators filming themselves doing their beauty routine or picking out outfits for the day, often for special occasions.
"It’s gotten to the point where if people don’t see me carrying it during a close game, they start blaming me for changing the routine. So let’s just say the bag isn’t leaving my side anytime soon," Woods added.
'Even the news knows,' Woods says
After word got around that MSG planned to force a strict no-bag policy ahead of the June 8 game, Woods took to Instagram to share her reaction to the decision, writing: "Even the news knows how important that bag is."

Large bags are among the list of prohibited items on the Garden's website, with the arena noting that bags must be within 22” x 14” x 9” and that all bags, regardless of size, are required to be screened with x-ray technology.
According to the Woods by Jordyn website, the Tux Clutch Mini measures approximately 9.4” W x 5.9” H x 3.6” D, well within the acceptable range for bags/purses under normal circumstances.
