Degree of financial leverage (DFL), degree of operating leverage (DOL) and the working capital ratio (WCR) are taken as independent variables which are the representative of risk and the earning price per share (EPS), return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), Sales and Net profits are taken as the representative of performance. Last 10 years (2004-2013) of Cement sector of Pakistan data is chosen as sample for analyze their relations by multiple regression technique. Results reveal that WCR impact adequately on the company performance because if company has enough liquidity than it perform its operations smoothly and enhance its performance very well. DFL should be control moderately because enough DFL leads performance of company downward. On the other hand, the DOL should be less because it causes the less profitability for the company from its operations.

Choosing vital, reliable and hustle free analysis is a bit difficult situation for most of the fi... more Choosing vital, reliable and hustle free analysis is a bit difficult situation for most of the financiers and managers as there are so many analyses. This study focuses on most significant analyses to perform on financial statements. To accomplish this study, financial statements of two companies, Unilever foods and National foods has selected to perform analysis. Results show that vertical analysis can be a suspicious analysis as it total assets and sales fluctuate gradually. Horizontal analysis is somehow better analysis than vertical analysis as it shows negative or positive trend of variables. DuPont analysis is a reliable analysis but it taken into consideration only two years. However, ratio analysis is seems to be best analysis as it gives concise and paramount review of firm's performance. According to these analyses, Unilever Foods is better corporate than National Foods. Further results are discussed in the light of these analyses.

Objective of this study is to analyze relationship between work motivation, job satisfaction with organizational commitment among managerial and CSRs(Customer Services Representative) in telecommunication sector. Focus of the study is towards analyzing the general behavior of managers and CSRs towards work motivation and job satisfaction which may build higher level of organizational commitment. Sample size of 200 was taken both male and female 100 from managerial class and 100 from CSRs. Two statistical tools correlation and linear regression were applied on data with the help of SPSS 16.0.results showed that positive and significant result exist between work motivation ,job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Although both independent variables are strongly associated with organizational commitment but impact of work motivation on organizational commitment is stronger. In case having no motivation and job satisfaction will have a more sever impact on CSRs than Managerial class on the organizational commitment.

Now people value to extrinsic things rather than intrinsic. Enjoyment, physical pleasure, material possessions and comfort are now becoming necessities of life. This study was conducted in January-June 2010. To analyze the materialistic thoughts among people five variables money, poverty, personal happiness, advertisement and culture were used as measurement tools to find materialistic thoughts among housewives, students, businessmen and salary person. Questionnaire was developed which includes demographic portion which was with some open and some close ended questions. Questions related to variables were all close ended. Stratified random sampling technique was used. Sample size was of 200. In results, there was no association between money, advertisement, poverty, culture, personal happiness with Study group. The materialistic thought is increasing among people due to two factors money and advertisement. Under recommendation it's said that all that glitters is not gold so we should not give importance to luxurious things.

The purpose of our study is to find out the worker wage satisfaction, worker satisfaction with supervisory behavior and worker satisfaction with welfare items. This cross sectional study was conducted from October 2010 to January 2011. A group of 200 employees was take part in this study through a predesigned questionnaire which consists of three parts to meet the objectives, which was collected from private organizations. There is an dilemma of weak relationship between labor and management that the labor force is not satisfied with their management behavior, wages and welfare items. Which tends towards the lack of accuracy in products and process of producing products. By this research we come to conclusion that the government should took part in this segment to apply the labor law accurately to provide the rights to the labor force and management should also have to contribute their efforts to satisfy their labor force so that they can perform well when they were satisfied perfect. Its means that the management is the part of labor force and labor is the part of management. This relation can become strong when they provide satisfaction to each other in work place.

This research was conducted to gauge the perceptions of employees, in both Islamic banks and conv... more This research was conducted to gauge the perceptions of employees, in both Islamic banks and conventional banks, of Islamic products and services, the training and experience gained in Islamic banking, and the potential of Islamic banking in Pakistan. Questionnaires dealing with Islamic banking were distributed to bankers in the northern part of Pakistan. The results revealed that bankers in Islamic banks have more positive perceptions on the above issues. Interestingly, few of the bankers possessed a relevant academic background or relevant experience in Islamic banking before embarking on this career. The bankers also claimed that they had very limited knowledge in this area prior to working with the banks; thus, the issue of the availability of well-trained and skilled employees must be addressed critically by the government, industry players and educationists for the sustainable growth of Islamic banking in Pakistan

The study examines the effect of high speed diesel oil prices on food sector prices in Pakistan. ... more The study examines the effect of high speed diesel oil prices on food sector prices in Pakistan. The food includes rice, maize, wheat, chicken and cooking oil which are dependent variables in this study. The independent variable is high speed diesel. It is hypothesized that there is a significant relationship and a positive effect of oil prices on food inflation. We took a time series data of last 10 years i.e. 2001 to 2010. The results support the hypothesis and it is concluded that there is highly significant effect of oil prices on foods inflation.

A record of all transactions made between one particular country and all other countries during a... more A record of all transactions made between one particular country and all other countries during a specified period of time is known as Balance of Payment (BOP). There are many factors that determine the position of balance of payments in the country either it is surplus or deficit. This study analyzes the statistical data of BOP of Pakistan from 1986 to 2010 and is an attempt to find out possible reasons for adverse BOP of Pakistan since its creation. The analysis shows that out of eight variables only two variables proved to be statistically significant namely foreign direct investment inflows and worker's remittances. However the impact of these variables on BOP turned out to be negative.

Topic based on (AIO), and in the light of AIO the whole questionnaire was developed. The Questionnaires was developed on the basis of qualitative research. The sample size was of 200 and in which different types of responses were right in accordance to the topic. Identifying consumer lifestyle portraits person's lifestyle. Since the five proceeding factors represents the prominent lifestyles of middle class people of Lahore .Our studies revealed that there are difference in the consumer lifestyles on the basis of AIO.

A total of 12 companies were selected randomly for the study and take ten years data from 2001 to 2010. Regression analysis was conducted. The results show that there is a significant and positive impact of capital structure on the profitability of the petroleum sector; this study has potential for replication in other industries like cement, textile and pharmaceutical. In over all analysis capital structure has the significant analysis but the individual analysis of every company has not significant because every company has their own capital structure. Overall Profitability depend on the capital structure.
